Angga started by showing friends of friends around Bali on his days off. Years later, that side hobby turned into a dedicated tour company – but the feeling of hosting friends has never changed. He still personally designs routes, trains guides and often leads tours himself.

James started by shaping the vision and direction behind Angga’s Hidden Bali, focusing on how the brand should feel, grow, and connect with people. Over time, that evolved into guiding strategy across platforms. Merita (AKA Meri) started by helping keep things organized behind the scenes and making sure day-to-day operations ran smoothly. Over time, that role grew into managing the heart of our office. We’re based around Ubud but our tours run across much of the island, including Ubud, Canggu, Seminyak, Kuta, Legian, Sanur, Nusa Dua, Jimbaran and selected areas of North and East Bali. Pick-up from your hotel or villa is usually included in these zones – just share your address when you enquire.

Booking on our site usually gives you our best available price and the most flexibility for custom requests or tweaks to the itinerary. If you prefer using an OTA you already trust, you can also reserve any of our listed tours there and pay securely on that platform.

Yes. When you book directly on our website, payments are processed through reputable, encrypted payment providers – we never see or store your full card details.
If you book through Viator, TripAdvisor or Klook, your payment is handled on their side using their own secure systems and protection policies.
In all cases, you’ll receive a formal confirmation and tour details once your booking is complete.
If you book directly on our website, our general cancellation rules are outlined on our Cancellation & Refund Policy page. In short, cancelling earlier usually means a higher refund, while last-minute cancellations or no-shows may not be refundable.

Our standard tours are small-group experiences, usually up to 6 guests and never more than 10 per group. This keeps things social but still comfortable and manageable at each stop.
We do offer private versions of many tours for guests who prefer to have the vehicle and guide to themselves. If you’d like a private option, mention it when you contact us or look for the “private tour” choice on the booking page.
For quick questions and availability, WhatsApp is usually fastest. For detailed itineraries, group trips or anything that needs more explanation, email or the contact form on our website works great.
We aim to reply within 24 hours (often much sooner during normal working hours in Bali), and we’ll happily point you to the best tour and booking option for your situation.
Most tours are conducted in English, which works well for the majority of our guests. Indonesian is also available, which is ideal for local travellers or Indonesian-speaking groups.
If your group prefers Indonesian, or you have mixed language needs, please let us know when you book so we can match you with the right guide where possible.
